Does Bixberry work with VPNs?

Short answer: it can, but you’ll usually get better results without one. Here’s why a VPN can get in Bixberry’s way, and what to do if you rely on one.

Best setup for earnings

Run Bixberry on your normal home or trusted Wi-Fi, with no VPN or proxy active. This gives the most reliable contribution and the highest, most consistent earnings.

With a VPN

Bixberry may still run, but you might see reduced earnings, frequent status changes, or connection issues. Behavior can also vary by VPN provider.

If you rely on a VPN

Consider running Bixberry only on a device where you don’t need the VPN, so your earnings aren’t affected.

Try disabling the VPN temporarily when running Bixberry, and re-enabling it for your other activity.
