Why is my earnings paused?

Modified on Fri, 12 Jun at 9:56 AM

When Bixberry can’t contribute, it pauses earning and shows a status message explaining why. Each pause has a quick fix — and earning resumes automatically once it’s resolved.

Common reasons earning is paused

No internet connection

“Earning paused — connect to the internet to resume earning.”

How to fix: Reconnect to Wi-Fi or mobile data. As soon as you’re back online, earning starts again on its own.

Unsupported network

“Earning paused — your current connection can’t be used for AI acceleration.”

How to fix: Some networks — public Wi-Fi, corporate networks, or connections behind a VPN or proxy — can’t be used. Switch to your home or another trusted network to resume.

Too many devices on this network

“Earning paused — try connecting from a different network.”

How to fix: Each network has a limit on how many devices can earn at full rate at once. Connect this device to a different network, or reduce the number of devices earning on this one.

Location access disabled

“Earning paused — enable location access to activate your earning rate.”

How to fix: Bixberry uses your location to set the correct earning rate for your country. Enable location permission for the app in your device settings, then reopen the app.

◆  Note

You don’t need to restart anything — once the issue is resolved, your device reconnects and earning resumes on its own. If a pause persists after you’ve fixed it, contact support.
